We were collected at our hotel at exactly the time requested and set off for the tunnels. Our guide Toan was brilliant and outlined what would be happening and approximate timings. We stopped on the way for a comfort break and coffee. Toan was full of information, very helpful and a great sense of humour. The actual tour was so interesting and Toan stayed with us the whole time helping us to navigate the best route and get the most out of the tour. Then a comfortable journey back to HCMC to get dropped off at our hotel. A brilliant tour with an excellent tour guide. Would highly recommend.
Very nice tour! Extremely nice and knowledgeable tour guide. Private luxury van was also very comfortable. I highly recommend using this service.
Communicated well, punctual, unbiased explanation of history. Kevin took the best care of us. Thanks Kevin, 10/10 would recommend you for future guide tours.
Had a great time with our guide, Kevin. He was knowledgeable and engaging. Would highly recommend this tour if you’re considering it
Amazing experience. Our tour guide Kevin gave us brief overview of the Vietnamese history leading up to and including the war. It’s recommended to get some background by visting the war museum first as it’s too much to go through in a single tour. After arriving our guide Kevin took us through the area which included some displays of vietnamese fighters and their methodologies used throughout the war as well as the different munitions used by GI’s. Next we went to the firing range, where I chose to fire some rounds from an AK47, which I’d recommend if you’ve never done it before. Finally was the experience walking through some of the tunnels, which I’d also highly recommend if you can handle it. It is a bit dark and not ideal if you struggle with confined spaces but the tunels are a single corridor with escape points every few metres which should give you peace of mind. I’d recommend the exprience to everyone even if you can’t get into the tunnels.
