We booked the tour for two couples from our hotel and once confirmed asked via whatsapp if our friends to be collected from a different hotel. This was organised without any issue. Our guide, Tuan, and the driver picked us up and we had a fascinating day. The tunnels are quite a drive so we had a rest stop at a charity store where we could see local people making fabulous pictures with shells, ducks egg shells and paint. The results were beautiful. Tuan is a 78yr old veteran of the war and could give an o sight into what happened that other guides wouldn't have been able to. The tunnels can be a little hard to negotiate. I'm 5'7" and 170lb - the short tunnels we were shown were ok but going through a 30m tunnel while holding a water bottle and a phone was a bit of a challenge and could be painful for someone with a bad back or knees but I still can't recommend this tour enough. We had a rest stop on the return at a Vietnamese restaurant.

Morning Tour to Cu Chi Tunnels – Highly Recommended! We had excellent communication from our guide, Nelson, who contacted us the night before and ensured the minibus arrived right on time at 7:45 AM at our hotel.Upon reaching the Cu Chi area, we started off at the shooting range, where my son and I each fired 10 rounds with an AK-47. A short drive later, Nelson led us through the forest, explaining the tunnel complexes and their strategic uses during the Vietnam War. Having read extensively about it, crawling through the actual tunnels was an unforgettable experience. Fantastic trip with an outstanding guide!

  3. A very educational tour

A very educational and interesting tour of the less touristy part of the Cu Chi tunnels. Wow they are tiny and a little effort to get through. The tour guide Alex provided a lot of useful and very insightful background on the history of the tunnels and the VC that lived and fought from them.
